Last week, I announced that I am launching a podcast called UNZIPPED with my former 90210 cast mate, AnnaLynne McCord and I truly cannot wait for you all to hear it!

AnnaLynne and I go way back, as many of you know, and the history of our friendship hasn’t always been so friendly, so we’re diving into all the drama that went down behind-the-scenes in our first episode. It’s the first time she and I had actually ever confronted our years-long bad blood face to face, so trust me, you don’t want to miss it!

So, why now? Why a podcast? Why together? …and what the hell is it about?
We decided to start working on this passion project when we were on the phone nearly a year ago in the height of the pandemic. We were catching up as we typically do. No bullshit, no small talk, just a head first deep dive into the real shit going on in our respective lives and how we’re truly feeling about it all. AnnaLynne and I couldn’t be more different in most ways, but the greatest thing we have in common is an inability to pretend; we say it exactly like it is. Sharing that with someone else is rare and special and makes us both feel safe in each other’s arms and ears.
With all the surface level fodder on social media, we thought, why not extend that safe space with guests and listeners on a podcast? It’s a great excuse for us to keep in touch more regularly, a fun opportunity to explore conversations with people who mutually interest and inspire us and a platform to encourage people to unzip alongside us. So, we did! And we’ll be sharing it with all of you starting May 12.
Some of our first guests include celeb hairstylist and Very Cavallari breakout star, Justin Anderson, Hollywood’s go-to brain doctor, Dr. Amen, beauty guru and LGBTQ icon, Gigi Gorgeous and beloved Bachelor alumni, Sean and Catherine Lowe! Lots of fun, laughter and heart-to-hearts to come, so like I said earlier, make sure you pre-subscribe to be the first to listen and sign up for exclusive updates from me and AnnaLynne HERE!

I also want to take a moment to commend my co-host on the beautiful coverage she’s shared about her Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) as of late. AnnaLynne filmed a series of interviews with Dr. Amen after meeting him in an interview for our podcast and spoke out about the disorder often confused as multiple personality disorder. I’ve watched the journey of discovery, transformation and healing that AnnaLynne has been on since her diagnosis a couple of years ago and have been in awe of her strength and openness every step of the way. She is one brave badass and watching her turn horrific trauma into beautiful power has been inspiring to say the absolute least. It’s scary to speak out about personal things of any magnitude and be left vulnerable to judgement, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, scares this woman.
Cheers to unzipping and letting it all hang out, so others may know they are not alone on this journey called life. I know I speak for both of us when I say we hope you’ll enjoy unzipping with us on the UNZIPPED podcast every Wednesday, starting May 12! Let’s do the damn thing!
